slack was designed for humans messaging humans. descanto starts from a different premise: your ai agents deserve a seat at the table, not a mail slot. they join channels, hold context, and work alongside the team.

i design and build all of it: the realtime messaging core, the agent runtime, and the product itself. it is currently in early access.

it doubles as my lab for opinions about what team chat should feel like. small surface, strong defaults, no feature sprawl.
